The St. Paul Area Chamber is inviting businesses to participate in Career Connect Day on October 17, 2023, at the St. Paul RiverCentre. The first part of the day, from 9 am to 3 pm, will be an incredible opportunity to connect and engage with local high school students and expose them to career options. Later that afternoon, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, will be a chance to connect with current job seekers looking to connect, network and apply for job openings. This is not your typical trade show! We encourage you to get creative in how you structure your booth especially for the first part of the day, offering hands-on activities, utilizing technology, and staffing your booth with people who can speak to students about the opportunities your company has available. For the part of the day when job seekers attend, we encourage you to have HR staff or recruiters at your booth if possible. We ask that all companies stay for both portions of the day to ensure a successful event! The deadline to purchase a sponsorship package or booth is Friday, September 8. Businesses can purchase a booth, or sponsor the event for added visibility. You will have your space for both portions of the day, and will be expected to be present the full time. There will be an hour between the student portion and job-seeker portion if you would like to reset anything. Which are you interested in?
