We are so excited to launch our new temporary exhibit - SPARK! City
SPARK! City is a first-of-its-kind public art exhibit that celebrates the unique neighborhoods of Dallas through the lens of local artists. During Summer Break, from Friday, May 29th through Sunday, August 2nd, SPARK! City will showcase the rich history, people, art, and culture of six vibrant neighborhoods including by not limited to: Downtown, Uptown, Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts, The Cedars, Vickery Meadow/Northeast Dallas, and Deep Ellum.
Each room in SPARK! City will fully immerse guests in the energy and essence of a specific neighborhood, brought to life through original works by local artists across a variety of mediums. Visitors will journey through Dallas, from the historic charm of Lakewood to the rhythms of Deep Ellum, and the bold creativity of Oak Cliff, connecting with the city’s diverse cultural landscape.
This exhibit is a unique opportunity for both Dallas residents and visitors to discover and celebrate the city’s creative heartbeat, freeing art from traditional gallery walls and placing it in the hands of the community.
