Multiple Memberships: The membership fee structure is calculated against the main business operated. Any additional businesses, listings, or stores will receive a 50% discount on any corresponding additional membership categories.

Payment Terms: 

An invoice will be sent upon receipt of the application and a non-refundable application fee of $110.00 will be charged. The application will be processed once payment is finalised;

• Pro-rata applies from the month of payment of application. 
• A non-refundable application fee of $110.00 is payable with all applications.
• Credit card transactions in New Zealand incur a surcharge of 2.90%. 
• Application will be processed once payment is finalised.

Directors or individuals responsible for your business, have never been:

• Declared bankrupt or been associated with a company that was placed under external control due to financial difficulties, such as being subject to a winding-up application, or the appointment of an administrator, liquidator, or receiver?
• Responsible for your business ever faced a fine, disqualification, or suspension from a regulator, court, or insurance provider?

If accepted as a member of the Swimming Pool & Spa Association (SPASA), you  agree to comply with the Association's Constitution and any rules set by the Board of Directors. You understand that it is your responsibility to ensure payments are made in a timely manner and remain liable for any outstanding fees or levies as determined by the Board.

You also acknowledge that as a member:

• You have a continuing obligation to disclose any changes that may affect my membership, including but not limited to changes in insurance, licenses, solvency, or other circumstances that could impact my membership status or reflect negatively on the Association.
• Agree to support the aims and objectives of the Association and to adhere to its Rules and Code of Ethics.
• Acknowledge that information provided may be shared with third parties, and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of such information in accordance with the relevant Privacy Act(s)

You understand that by applying for membership and submitting payment does not guarantee acceptance as a member or provide any membership rights. Membership is only confirmed upon receiving written approval, and until then, you are not permitted to use the SPASA logo or represent yourself  as a member in any way.

The membership application approval process can take anywhere from one to several weeks, and is entirely dependent of the following:

1. The Membership Team will review your application to ensure all information has been completed and necessary documents attached.
2. Once your membership application is verified as complete, notification will be circulated to members announcing the new membership application.
3. If approved, provisional membership will be provided and logos and access to benefits will commence.
4. Formal approval is provided at Board level and will be communicated to you with your membership kit.
