🧩🌈 Spectrum in the Park – Waiver & Release of Liability 🌈🧩

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Spectrum in the Park Autism Awareness Celebration event. I understand that participation in event activities (including but not limited to games, inflatables, physical activities, and general event attendance) involves certain risks, including the potential for injury, illness, property damage, or loss.

I understand that these risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others (including participants, volunteers, staff, and spectators), event conditions, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

🧍🏽‍♀️ Health & Responsibility
I certify that I (and/or my child) am physically able to participate in event activities and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my own health and/or the health of my child during the event.

⚖️ Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Aletha Martin, all event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and affiliated entities, from any and all liability for injury, illness, disability, death, property damage, or loss that may occur as a result of participation in or attendance at this event, including travel to and from the event.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless all parties listed above from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from my participation or the participation of my child.

🚑 Medical Authorization
I consent to receive emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary during the event and understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses.

📸 Photo & Media Release
I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the event. I grant permission for my image and/or my child’s image to be used by event organizers for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without compensation.

⚖️ Acknowledgment
I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver.

🤝 Code of Conduct
To ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees, participants, and families, I agree to the following:

• I will treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and patience.
• I understand this is an autism-friendly event and will be mindful of sensory sensitivities, communication differences, and personal space.
• I will not engage in any aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.
• I will follow all instructions from event staff and volunteers.
• I will supervise my child(ren) at all times.
• I understand that any behavior that compromises the safety or well-being of others may result in removal from the event without refund or warning.
