Literacy Clinic Application
What you need to know

The Literacy Clinic provides students struggling to develop appropriate reading and spelling skills with effective, high-quality support using the Sounds-Write program. It is suitable for ages 5 to adult.

Your application will be reviewed by our Literacy Team. They will contact you to advise available clinic times and book your first appointment.

The Literacy Clinic is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm weekdays. Each session is 45 minutes and sessions are run over a 12-week block. The sessions will take place at our Frewville or Black Forest clinics. We also have online available.

Please bring any professional and/or school reports to the initial placement screening.

Cost information

Each lesson is $110 per session. Any homework books required will be at an additional cost.

If you are a SPELD SA member, this will entitle you to receive 5% discount per session as well as 5% discount for essential homework books (excluding bursary families and pre-pay of block).
