  • Upstate Art Weekend Festival 2026 Participant Application

    Deadline: 5pm EST Wednesday, February 25, 2026. No late applications will be accepted.

  • The seventh edition of Upstate Art Weekend will take place from Thursday, June 25 - Monday, June 29, 2026. This UAW Festival application is for galleries, museums, creative spaces, projects, temporary exhibitions or events (including open studios of more than four artists) and non-profit organizations.

    Applicants will be notified in March 2026 and application fees are non-refundable.

    Individual artists are not eligible to apply, but can register for UAW Open Studios, May 16-17, 2026.

    The 2026 edition of UAW Festival will offer three different tiers of participation. *Please read the details of each tier carefully before selecting, as accepted applicants will be assigned to their chosen tier that based on their non-profit or for-profit status.

    BASE TIER: Non-profit: $350 / For-profit: $495

    Base tier includes:
    Inclusion in digital map (2025 Google map 415k+ views)
    Inclusion in printed map (10k+ copies)
    Inclusion on Instagram stories (26k+ Followers)
    Inclusion in e-newsletter (10k+ subscribers)
    Inclusion in press release/s (500+ press)
    Promotional materials (digital + physical)
    Website listing with link
    Invitations to Participant only events

    PLUS TIER: Non-profit: $550 / For-profit: $695

    Plus Tier will include all the benefits that come with Base Tier, in addition to the following:
    Dedicated collaborative Instagram post (26k+)
    Feature in e-newsletter (10k+ subscribers)
    Inclusion in local guides

    PREMIER TIER: Non-profit: $900 / For-profit: $1050

    Premier Tier will include all the benefits that come with Base and Plus Tiers, in addition to the following:
    Dedicated e-newsletter (10k+ subscribers)
    Featured spotlight interview on website

    • The primary contact is the person whom Upstate Art Weekend can reach out to with any questions about the application and, if accepted, the Participant's exhibition/event details. If there is an additional contact that should also be added to Participant communications, please include them as the Secondary Contact.

    • Participant Information 

    • The Participant refers to the gallery/organization/exhibition space. Please list the Participant name EXACTLY how it should be listed in all future communications. Please keep in mind capitalization, spacing, etc.

    • Kindly note that there are some required amenities.  All events must have adequate parking (3 spaces minimum) and clear signage.  We will provide UAW promotional assets.
