Sedro-Woolley Riding Club/ Sedro-Woolley Rodeo is a non-profit organization. Our mission for the club is to provide family friends ways for our community to experience the western way of life by intentionally building bridges year around with our community; providing events, activities and fellowship that is fun, educational, and entertaining.
As a member, here are some of the benefits you will receive:

● Full access to the arena when not reserved or closed (the calendar is kept up to date online at www.sedrowoolleyrodeo.com).● Access to rent the clubhouse at a discounted fee. Please contact the hospitality director for inquiries and reservations.● Volunteer opportunities.● Monthly newsletters● General meeting attendance● Access to private Facebook group with information about the rodeo grounds● First opportunities to upcoming events/activities
ACTIVE MEMBER – SINGLE - $40.00
Must be a member in good standing. Single memberships must participate in (1) scheduled work party and volunteer at (1) scheduled event no later than October 15th of each year.

ACTIVE MEMBER – FAMILY - $50.00
Must be a member in good standing. Family memberships must participate in (2) scheduled work parties and volunteer at (2) scheduled events and may be fulfilled by any member of the family, no later than October 15th of each year.

NON-ACTIVE MEMBER – SINGLE - $150.00
There is no requirement to actively participate in the riding club activities, work parties, etc. Non-active members have full use of the arena when it is open and available.

NON-ACTIVE MEMBER – FAMILY - $200.00
There is no requirement to actively participate in the riding club activities, work parties, etc. Non-active members have full use of the arena when it is open and available.

GOLD CARD MEMBER - Free
This membership is awarded to members that have completed twenty or more years of service to the Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club and are sixty years of age or older. Once awarded, this is a lifetime membership. The membership form will still need to be filled out yearly.

HONORARY MEMBER / ASSOCIATE MEMBER - Free:
This membership is for a person who does not use the arena/grounds for personal use but wishes to be a part of the club and help at events and/or work parties. There will be no charge for this membership, but it must be voted on at a monthly business meeting before membership is given to individual(s).

• If member(s) do not fulfill this commitment listed here, then riding privileges will be revoked or until member(s) pay non-active member price.
• To vote at the annual meeting you must attend (3) general meetings within the calendar year.
• Member in good standing – Dues are current.
• Single Membership – Must be 16 years or older and are allowed one vote.
• Family Membership – Must reside in the same household up to the age of 18 or be a full-time college student up to the age of 22. You are allowed two votes and must be 16 years of age to vote.
• All memberships are for the current calendar year (January 1 to December 31st). New or renewal members paid after March will forfeit election and voting rights.
GUEST ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN ARENA AND ADJACENT AREAS UNLESS THEY HAVE MEMBERSHIP!
NO LESSONS TAUGHT ON GROUNDS!

LIABILITY RELEASE: Please read and sign

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the events and membership of the Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club, I and my heirs, successors, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE and agree to HOLD HARMLESS the Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club, the rodeo committee, stock contractors, arena operations, their agents and representatives from all liability to me and my personal representatives, heirs, successors, and next of kin from all claims and liability for all loss and damage. This includes any claim of damage on account of any injury to my person including death or damage to my property while I am utilizing Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club facilities or participating in Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club events. I hereby represent to the Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club that I understand that THERE ARE CERTAIN RISKS OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH inherent in participating in any horse and/or rodeo related events and activities. I realize conditions of the arena change from time to time and may become more hazardous, that horses and other rodeo animals are dangerous and unpredictable and there is an INHERENT DANGER which I appreciate and voluntarily assume because I choose to participate in such events. I recognize and expressly agree to assume the entire risk of any and all accidents or personal injury including serious paralysis or death, which I might suffer during my participation in said events.
I further COVENANT AND AGREE NOT TO SUE THE SEDRO-WOOLLEY RIDING AND RACING CLUB for any injury, damages or death which occur as a result of my participation in said events. I understand that his document may be treated as a complete defense to any legal action I might bring against the Sedro-Woolley Riding and Racing Club for any injuries or other damages I might suffer. I understand and agree this RELEASE AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE extends to any or all claims I may have, including but not limited to, claims arising out of participation in said events, claims with respect to the design, maintenance instructions, rules, or procedures under which my use of said facilities or equipment are conducted or from any other cause. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THIS RELEASE AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE extends to ACCIDENT, INJURY, OR DEATH OCCURRING DURING THE TERM OF MY MEMBERSHIP IN THE SEDRO-WOOLLEY RIDING AND RACING CLUB. Any subsequent releases and agreements I might sign in the future shall amplify but shall in no way limited the provisions of this document.
I further state and certify that I have carefully read the foregoing Release, know the contents thereof and sign this release and agreement not to sue as a free and voluntary act. I am not relying on any statements or representations of any party release hereby. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS.*
