Thank you! Now you are ready to start your family assignment Please read this section before you begin.
Consider your assignment a time of REFLECTION and not work! This year you are walking through the story of Salvation History. Salvation History talks about God's love for His people... This includes you! Consider how the message of this week's Bible narrative impacts your life and how your family can live out the message as members of God's family. COMPLETE PARTS 1-3 FOR EACH LESSON. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD, YOU MAY INCLUDE ALL RESPONSES ON THIS ONE FORM. Recognizing that your children may have different learning styles, each part has options to type in your response or upload a photo. Feel free to choose different options each week depending on how GOD is calling your family to respond.
Part 1-Bible Narrative Summary
Complete one of the options below. Remember to mix it up if you have children of different ages or if they have different learning styles.
OPTION 1: Write a short summary of this week's Bible narrative from each child. If they would rather share their feelings about the narrative or talk about a person in the narrative they relate to, these make great reflections too! (You may Include more than one child's response in this section.) If your child prefers to write his/her thoughts on a separate sheet of paper, snap a photo of it and upload the file in the second space below. (NOTE: For Week 1-The Holy Bible, tell us one new or most interesting thing you learned about the Bible).
OPTION 2: Do you have a budding artist? If your child would rather draw a picture of the Bible narrative or decorate their favorite word from the narrative, upload their artwork here. Include all photos in one submission. (For Week One-The Holy Bible, maybe they can draw a picture of your family Bible or any favorite narrative/character from the Bible). (Acceptable: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif.)

Part 2-Catechism of the Catholic Church
It's important to understand how our Catholic beliefs draw out the truth of the Bible. Read together the question numbers for this lesson in the Youcat for Kids (question numbers can be found in the 'Catechism of the Catholic Church Connection' section of your lesson guide.)
Tell us ONE new or interesting thing your child learned from the Youcat for Kids this week.
Part 3-Live Your Faith
Look over the 'Live Your Faith' section in this week's lesson guide and complete ONE activity from this section.
OPTION 1: Type in answers, observations, or insights from ONE 'Live Your Faith' question/activity in the space below. Remember, you may include responses from each child in this space, or just paraphrase your family's general thoughts or experiences in a couple sentences.
OPTION 2: Upload a photo of a completed activity from the 'Live Your Faith' section here. Include all photos in one submission. (Acceptable: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif)
