What documents do I need for my tax appointment?

Please note that this is not a comprehensive list. The documents you need for tax preparation depend on your situation.

Many of these forms won't be needed to file taxes every year. For example, you will only receive the investment forms you may need to file your taxes if you have had distributions or other activity.
