We often get asked the question why don't Schulz Coaching run teams? We have listened and we are proud to announce our new Elite Showcase Squads from September 2026.
How will it work?
We will identify players from U9 & U10's 26/27 season age groups. There will be a 4 week FREE trial process starting from Wednesday 9th September. Players will be expected to come to all 4 trial sessions.
We will be looking for position specific players for the squad of 14 including 2GK's.
Once selected players will be expected to sign a contract for the season so we can keep consistency within the group and give our amazing coaches time to work with the group and the individual. If players are signed by a pro club we will be able to release the player from the contract and then their place in the squad will be replaced by another player.
What will the training be like?
Our philosophy is to develop the complete player. Our sessions will cover the whole spectrum from 1v1 domination, ball mastery, physical movement skills, group play and to create a team identity.
Once selected players will receive a Nike Match kit with their name on the back, players will be expected to train and play games in this.
Wednesday sessions will be held at Lutterworth Athletic FC 6:00-8:00pm, on their state of the art 4G facility. Players will meet their coaches in the changing rooms.
The sessions will run during term time and there will be a total of 36 sessions (3 x 12 week blocks) We will have showcase games against pro academies throughout the year and other private acadmies. We will also enter teams into tournaments throughout the year both locally and further afield.
Cost of the session going forward:
£54 per month on a 12 month contract.
