Join the SSE After-School Volleyball Clinic ran right at OKES! Avoid the cross town commute. Your Old Kings student comes straight to Coach Butler after school and you pick them up at club's end each session at 5:30pm!
We're thrilled to invite your child to the SSE Volleyball Clinic (Scott's Sports and Entertainment), an exciting after-school program designed for students in grades 3-5. Led by Coach Butler, this clinic offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to learn basic volleyball skills, practice through engaging drills, and apply what they've learned in fun scrimmage games. More importantly, it fosters teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship in a supportive and incredibly fun environment.
Program Details
Cost: $75 per player
Location: OKES Gym
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Duration: 2 weeks with 6 total meetings
Target Group: Boys and Girls in grades 3, 4, and 5
Our program is centered on skill development, team activities, and scrimmage games in our climate controlled gym.
Session Dates
October 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22.

The Program Experience
Week 1: October 13 - 15
Session 1: Ready Position & Movement - Dynamic movements, toss & catch to partner and target
Session 2: Passing Accuracy & Control - Self setting, catch and pass, “Target Sets”, and review of ball control.
Session 3: Setting Mechanics - Underhand serving mechanics, serving to wall and low net, target serves, and review of passing.
Week 2: October 20 - 22
Session 4: Underhand Serving & Pass: Receiving serves and passing to stationary targets.
Session 5: Rotation & Basic Court Rules - Drill progressions, skill challenge, pass over net.
Session 6: Modified Volleyball Game with Rotations
Registration Process
To register your child, please make the appropriate selections and complete all required fields below.
Before your child's session begins, you'll receive a text message and an email with specific program details, including their meeting spot with Coach Butler and pick-up instructions. Your child's teacher will also be informed. If you're enrolling multiple students, please complete a separate form for each child.
We're incredibly excited for the chance to work with your children and introduce them to the thrilling world of volleyball!
