    1. Acceptance of Terms
    1.1 By making a booking with Summit Seekers, the Client confirms that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Booking Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

    2. Booking Confirmation
    2.1 A booking shall only be confirmed once payment has been received and cleared in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
    2.2 Where a deposit option is offered, the booking shall remain provisional but the date blocked until the balance is paid in full.

    3. Deposits and Payments
    3.1 A non-refundable deposit, in the amount stated at the time of booking, is required to reserve a place on the selected event or date.
    3.2 Bookings made fewer than seven (7) days prior to the event date require full payment at the time of booking.
    3.3 Where a booking is paid in full more than seven (7) days prior to the event, fifty percent (50%) of the total fee shall remain non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

    4. Balance of Payment
    4.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance of the booking fee must be paid no later than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the event date.
    4.2 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

    5. Client Cancellations and Amendments
    5.1 In the event of cancellation or a reduction in participant numbers, Summit Seekers reserves the right to apply the following cancellation charges:
    (a) More than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the event: loss of deposit only.
    (b) More than seven (7) days but fewer than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the event: loss of deposit plus any reasonable costs incurred or 50% whichever is greater.
    (c) Fewer than seven (7) days prior to the event: one hundred percent (100%) of the total fee payable.
    5.2 Non-attendance on the event date, late arrival resulting in non-participation, or reduction in party numbers shall be treated as a cancellation.

    6. Cancellation or Amendment by Summit Seekers
    6.1 Summit Seekers reserves the right to cancel, amend or curtail an event due to adverse weather conditions, environmental factors, safety concerns, or any other unavoidable or unforeseeable circumstances.
    6.2 In such circumstances, the booking shall be rescheduled to a mutually agreed alternative date within three (3) months of the original event date.
    6.3 Where the Client elects not to accept a rescheduled date, no refund or compensation shall be payable and Summit Seekers shall be deemed to have fulfilled its contractual obligations.
    6.4 A decision by a Client not to participate in an activity for any reason, including adverse weather, shall be treated as a cancellation.

    7. Delays and Late Starts
    7.1 Unforeseen circumstances may delay the commencement of an event.
    7.2 Summit Seekers will endeavour to minimise inconvenience and may offer a later start time.
    7.3 Where a later start time is declined by the Client, no refund or compensation shall be payable.

    8. Late Arrivals
    8.1 Where a Client or participant arrives after the designated start time, Summit Seekers reserves the right to shorten the activity duration in order to conclude at the originally scheduled finish time.

    9. Insurance and Risk Acknowledgement
    9.1 Summit Seekers holds Public Liability Insurance but does not provide Personal Accident Insurance.
    9.2 Participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks.
    9.3 Clients acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their own safety and for the safety of any minors for whom they are responsible.
    9.4 All participants must comply with all safety instructions, warnings and guidance provided by Summit Seekers at all times.

    10. Conduct and Removal from Activities
    10.1 Summit Seekers reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation without refund where a participant:
    (a) behaves in a disruptive, unsafe or antisocial manner;
    (b) fails to follow instructions;
    (c) is deemed incapable of safely participating; or
    (d) is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    11. Liability
    11.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
    11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, Summit Seekers shall not be liable for loss, damage, injury, delay or expense including (but not limited to) loss of earnings, profits, goodwill, reputation or consequential losses.
    11.3 Summit Seekers accepts no liability for damage to or loss of personal property or vehicles.

    12. Equipment Responsibility
    12.1 Participants are responsible for the proper care and use of any equipment provided.
    12.2 Any loss, misuse or damage may result in charges for repair or replacement at the discretion of Summit Seekers.

    13. Medical Disclosure
    13.1 Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries or health concerns prior to the event.
    13.2 Summit Seekers reserves the right to refuse participation where safety may be compromised.

    14. Photography, Video and Media
    14.1 Photographs and video footage may be taken during events.
    14.2 Unless otherwise notified in writing prior to the event, Clients consent to the use of such media for promotional and marketing purposes.
    14.3 Images shall not be sold or provided to third parties without prior consent.

    15. General Responsibilities
    15.1 Clients are responsible for reading and understanding these Terms and Conditions.
    15.2 Any misuse of substances, alcohol or unsociable behaviour shall result in immediate cessation of activities without refund.

    16. Governing Law
    16.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
