    Boarding Form & Agreement
  • You are welcome to drop your dog off the evening before the board and train starts so they can get acclimated; there's no charge for this. Otherwise, we suggest your drop your dog off in the morning the day your board and train starts.

    You will be charged for the day you pick up your dog so it's recommended that you pick them up in the afternoon or evening so we can do training that day.

    These terms are between Sharp Dogs Seattle LLC and myself.

  • Training

    Ethical dog trainers do not guarantee results because dog behavior is too complex and influenced by many variables, such as the dog's temperament, breed, history and prior training. {sharpDogs74} will work with me to set realistic expectations. 

    Fnding a trainer who is experienced, personable, and who uses positive, gentle methods is more important than a guarantee of a quick fix. I understand that I will need to continually support what my dog has learned. {sharpDogs74} will show me how to maintain progress and continue reinforcing what my dog has learned.

     

  • Sharp Dogs Seattle LLC will work with me to set realistic expectations and I understand that training is an ongoing process.
  • I'm sorry but these terms need to be agreed to in order to do board and train with {sharpDogs74}.

  • Pet Safety

    I understand that I'm responsible for disclosing to  any pet allergies, illnesses, health conditions, habits, or behaviors (e.g., aggressiveness, biting, escaping) that could impact Sharp Dogs Seattle services or safety.

    I authorize them to use all means reasonably necessary at their discretion to keep my dog safe and healthy while providing services. This may include, in part, isolating a sick, injured, or aggressive pet in a separate room or crate and/or seeking medical assessment or treatment for a sick or injured pet.

     

    Veterinarian Authorization

    In the event {sharpDogs74} deems veterinary treatment necessary in their assessment, they will first attempt to contact me. If I cannot be reached, {sharpDogs74} will attempt to contact the designated Emergency Contact(s). If neither of us can be reached, I authorize {sharpDogs74} to seek treatment from a veterinarian using the information provided in the emergency form. The amount in the Veterinary Authorization section below is the maximum allowable expense for life-saving measures. I will reimburse this amount to {sharpDogs74}. If life-saving measures exceed this amount, I understand that the pet is at risk for further injury, illness, or even death. If the pet is suffering, the pet, at the discretion of the veterinarian, may be humanely euthanized

  • Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

    As allowed by law, I agree to protect and not hold {sharpDogs74}, their employees, or  agents responsible for any claims, costs, or damages caused by my pet. This includes injuries to people or animals and damage to property belonging to me, other guests,{sharpDogs74}, or their staff.

    I also agree not to sue {sharpDogs74} or its personnel for any injuries, property damage, or losses—unless they are caused by {sharpDogs74}'s gross negligence or intentional misconduct. This includes any injury, loss, or death of my pet, as well as damage to or loss/theft of my belongings.

  • Cancellations

    I understand that I will forfeit my deposit if I cancel my reservation fewer than 4 days/96 hours before the scheduled service.
