DISCLAIMER: This is not an application for employment. No offer for employment is given or implied during the internship. Interns are not replacing any New Life Bible Church employees and will be required to be directly supervised by our Kidzone Children's Ministry Director, our staff, and volunteers. All interns must agree to serve in agreement with our policies. These policies will be shared with the potential intern prior to acceptance into the program and orientation will be given to further understand the policies and expectations. To complete the internship, all interns will be required to attend the training events, ministry events, and worship services. Although this is an educational training, there are no educational credits promised to any interns. The training is specifically intended for those individuals who are interested in serving in Children's Ministry or Pastoral Ministry within their local church. Interns are considered volunteers at New Life Bible Church who are donating their time to learn while serving God, His Church, and His people in the name of Jesus. Our interns are not given the title of Pastor (unless they are ordained by their home church) and are not given the rights to perform religious ceremonies only held by clergy or to function in the role of a counselor providing counseling services. Our volunteers may have the opportunity to teach, preach, lead worship, baptize, pray, offer communion, visit the sick, comfort the hurting, and share the gospel in addition to leading children's summer camps, sports camps, and Bible clubs during this training time. No intern will be involved with fundraising, soliciting donations, or selling items for New Life Bible Church or Kidzone during the internship. The intern is not entitled to wages during the internship as a volunteer, however travel, housing, and living assistance may be provided for our guests who join our program.
