Winter Retreat Student Code of Conduct
  • STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

    1. I will participate in all scheduled activities, which are designed to make the most of everyone's experience.
    2. I will not enter into areas of the lodging facility that are assigned to females if I am a male or areas assigned to males if I am a female. 
    3. I will not damage the lodging facility or other property.
    4. I will not use obscene or abusive language or engage in reckless behavior that could cause harm to others or myself.
    5. I will not bring items included in the "What Not to Bring" section of the Packing List (provided below).
    6. In order to build relationships with other students at the Winter Retreat, I will not bring my cell phone.  
    7. I will not bring headphones or earbuds to the Winter Retreat.
    8. I will not leave the Retreat Center property.
    9. I will not change room assignments, so my location will be known if I need to be contacted in an emergency. 
    10. I will sleep in the bed assigned to me, and will not share my bed with another person.
    11. To respect others and so all can get the rest needed, I will respect the scheduled lights-out time.
    12. I will not have in my possession, nor will I use, drugs and/or alcohol. 
    13. I will respect and follow the directives of the Winter Retreat leaders.
    14. I will not engage in inappropriate activity. I will not engage in sexual misconduct, which can include inappropriate comments, gestures, or physical contact.

  • I acknowledge that I have read the above Code of Conduct and understand the importance of its contents. I agree to follow and abide by this Code of Conduct while at, and when traveling to and from, the Winter Retreat.
