SHOOT for COOP Rules & Regulations

Each Shooter must complete this form. Please initial each item and sign at the bottom.

1. ANYONE at ANYTIME may call a CEASE FIRE. If you see something or someone being unsafe, immediately call "Cease Fire". *

2. IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY: call a “Cease Fire”, and call 911 IMMEDIATELY *

3. You are entering private property. All entrants must obey rules at all times. We reserve the right to check firearms, to disarm you, refuse service, or remove anybody from the property. All firearms brought onto the property must be completely UNLOADED & ACTIONS LOCKED OPEN. *

4. Safety glasses and er protection are required to be worn by all shooters, spotters or spectators at all times on all ranges. All ranges are a shot fall area. *

5. Primary Gun Safety Rules: *

A. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction (down range)

B. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

C. Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use at the firing line.

6. Secondary gun safety rules: *

A. Know your target and what it behind it.

B. Be sure the gun is safe to operate.

C. Know how to use the gun safely. (Load, handle, fire, unload and make the gun safe.

D. Use only the correct ammunition for the gun.

E. Never use alcohol or drugs before or while shooting.

7. Failure to cooperate with other shooters will not be tolerated. It is up to those shooting to call cease fires, etc., in a cooperative manner. *

8. Ammunition Provided: Please no outside ammunition. *

9. Alcohol, medications that impair judgment and illegal drug use are not permitted. If a shooter is suspected to be under the influence, the shooter will be asked to leave. If violator is not fit to drive his/her vehicle, we will call the police and violator will be charged with public intoxication. *

10. Waiver of liability: I understand and accept the range rules & policies and understand that I am entering a private event at my own risk where I will encounter high levels of noise and the discharge of ammunition from firearms. I am entering this property at my own risk and I understand that hazards include flying bullets, flying debris, and noise are potential hazards which may include injury or death. *

11. I have read, agree and understand the rules, regulations and liability waiver and I will not hold the Shoot for Coop event responsible. I also agree to supervise and be responsible for any minor in my care while on the property. *

12. I understand that firearms are inherently dangerous and can injure, wound, maim, cause physical and /or mental impairment, and death if handled improperly. *

13. I certify that I am familiar with my firearm(s), and that I am able to load, handle, fire, unload and make safe my firearm(s). If I am unsure about my firearm(s), I will go over the proper operation. *
