SHOP LOCAL MARKET at IRONWORKS

MARKET INFORMATION

• This market happens EVERY SATURDAY from 11AM-4PM
• This is an INDOOR EVENT with a small TABLE SET UPS ONLY (1-6ft table or 2-4ft table) 
  
• Vendor Fee is $75 per day - effective 10/1/2024
• SET UP TIME 10 AM
• LATE ARRIVALS MUST BE COMMUNICATED (excessive lateness will effect future bookings)
• Vendor MUST bring their ENTIRE SET UP (EVERYTHING you need to set up shop) (NO TENTS)
• We ask for a CLEAN and ORGANIZED Set-Up
• Event promotion is REQUIRED
• ONLY PRODUCTS DISCLOSED ON APPLICATION IS ALLOWED
• We are currently NOT accepting: HOT FOOD, FOOD TRUCK VENDORS, CBD PRODUCTS, CANDLES, SOAPS OR PET PRODUCTS
• Please Note: DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED RESPONSE TIME IS APROX 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS
• Events typically book FULL 2 months in advance (apply early) 
• ALL FOOD / SNACK / DESSERT VENDORS - MUST HAVE PROPER LABELS AND REQUIRED PERMITS. NO EXCEPTIONS 
• Incomplete Applications Will NOT be accepted 
• WE HAVE A FIRM CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY (see below)

OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OUR WEEKLY MARKETS:

• THIS MARKET IS SPECIFICALLY CURATED TO OFFER A VARIETY OF LOCAL ART, HANDMADE & LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES
• NO DRINKS OR CBD PRODUCTS ALLOWED
• NO CANDLES, SOAPS OR PET PRODUCTS ALLOWED
• If approved, a confirmation email will be sent to confirm the dates approved, then an invoice will be sent within 24-48 hours.
• Payment WILL BE DUE to secure your spot.
  ONLY APPROVED PRODUCTS DISCLOSED ON YOUR APPLICATION ARE ALLOWED.
• Spaces will no longer be held for PAST DUE invoices
• Past due invoices will be cancelled and spaces will be released to next on waitlist
• Event promotion is required.
• Booth sharing is NOT  allowed.
• Late arrivals must be communicated.
• You must stay for the ENTIRE event
• Your area must be left clean
• NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN MARKET AREA
• You are responsible for reporting all your own SALES TAX.
• A copy of your Sales Tax Certificate should be available if needed.
• ALL SNACKS / DESSERTS /FOOD VENDORS: Must obtain the required permits and or follow Home Cottage Laws according to the City Of Houston Regulations. NO EXCEPTIONS - A COPY OF FOOD PERMITS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR OUR RECORDS

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING POLICY:

• NO REFUNDS

• Please email BOOKING@SHOPLOCALMARKET.COM for:

  • CANCELLATIONS for PAID INVOICES - NO REFUNDS / FORFEITS FEE
  • CANCELLATIONS for NON-PAID INVOICES - $25 CANCELLATION FEE
  • RESCHEDULE REQUEST ($25 or FORFEITS FEE) (see below)  

• $25 RESCHEDULING FEE: The request is made with 72 hours plus notice in order to AVOID forfeiting your vendor fee and only getting charged the $25 Rescheduling Fee that will be applied to your balance once new date is confirmed.  (Ex: If you need to cancel SATURDAY'S event you need to submit your request by Wednesday 10am to avoid forfeiting your fee)

• FORFEITS FEE: The request is made with LESS THAN 72 HOURS giving us no notice to replace your vendor space. 

• NO RESCHEDULES for No-Shows

• NON PAYMENTS / CANCELLED INVOICES & NO SHOWS will be noted for future consideration.

• CANCELLATIONS will cancel / affect extended payment arrangements for future dates. 

Waiver of Liability:
Vendors who do not have liability insurance coverage and wish to participate in the event must agree to a waiver releasing Shop Local Market LLC or Ironworks, its employees, representatives, and the event venue from any liability for injuries, occurrences, damages, or losses that may arise during their participation in the event.
By participating in the event, vendors agree to indemnify and hold Shop Local Market LLC or Ironworks, its employees, representatives, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of their participation in the event.
