Outbuildings addition/change requirements are:

The construction and location of outbuildings (Gazebo, potting shed, storage shed, statues, gates, playhouses, etc.) shall be subject to the review and approval of the ACC. Their design and location in relationship to the house is essential. Building materials should match the existing home in materials (brick, stucco, hardy plank, color, etc.). It must have the same style roof as existing home (gables, material, windows, etc.). Outbuilding must have a poured cement foundation making it a permanent structure and not portable. It must not be visible from the street. Application must contain landscaping plans for shielding the view of the structure using evergreens. Buildings should be oriented so that access is indirect and their opening does not face the street. Application must be accompanied by complete drawings and specifications showing dimensions and placement.
Submittal requirements for an Outbuilding are as follows:
- SC stamped lot survey indicating location(s) of areas involved in the project showing dimensions to lot boundaries.
- Samples (description & pictures) of materials used for all components (walls, roof, doors, windows, etc).
- A detailed plan with complete drawings and specifications showing dimensions.
- Photos of the area showing existing conditions and views from neighboring lots, street and golf course as appropriate.
- Landscape plan for required screening if appropriate. Show plant locations, type, and size on lot plan.
Please note a walkthrough by the Architectural Change Committee may be necessary for this project. A representative from the management company will reach out to you if this is required.
