The Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology (IDSOG) is soliciting cases for “Stump the Professors” and abstracts for presentation at the IDSOG Annual Meeting, which will be held July 16–18, 2026, at the Abbey Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI!

The IDSOG Scientific Program Committee is currently accepting cases to be considered for a “Stump the Professors” event that will be held during the 2026 Annual Meeting on July 16–18, 2026. Selected cases will be presented for discussion at the meeting.
Selected presenters will receive a complimentary meeting registration.
Who is eligible?
Any Medical Student, Fellow, Post-Doctoral Student, or other trainee.
Case Requirements:
Cases involving infectious diseases related to women’s or perinatal health will be considered. Cases with an unusual presentation or complication will be given priority to enhance the likelihood that the case will “Stump the Professors.” Submissions should be limited to a one-page case summary, including the final diagnosis. Cases must not exceed one page with 1" margins and a minimum 11-point font.
The general format should include a description of the case, followed by a section outlining the final diagnosis and the findings that led to that diagnosis. A final section should describe the clinical significance of the condition and its importance for heightened provider awareness. Please ensure that the diagnosis is not included in the case presentation title.

Case Selection:
Cases will be evaluated based on the quality of submission, the unique nature of the presentation and/or complication, and the challenging nature of the case.
