About the Sturgis Rotary Merit Scholarship Fund

Your contribution to the Sturgis Rotary Merit Scholarship Fund supports local graduates in pursuit of higher education. Our merit scholarships are awarded to graduates with a 3.5 GPA or higher, who also demonstrate strong leadership and community service.

Rotary Merit Scholarships assist students in pursuing a 4-year degree. Applicants are reviewed by our Sturgis Area Foundation Committee and must meet Rotary academic, leadership and community service standards to receive an award, with funds paid directly to the school the student will be attending. Graduates from Sturgis, Centreville, Mendon, Burr Oak and other surrounding high schools in St. Joseph County not represented by another Rotary club are eligible to apply.

Your sponsorship is 100% tax-deductible, and every dollar goes to our scholarship endowment fund. As our SACF Rotary scholarship fund grows, we'll be able to award more scholarships annually to deserving high school graduate recipients. You are truly supporting our local youth leaders in their pursuit of higher education, making an impact on our community and future workforce.

Magna Cum Laude - $1,000 to $5,000+
- Cum Laude sponsor benefits, plus

Cum Laude - $500 to $999
