  • Sunbridge Institute's Pathways to Waldorf Scholarship provides financial assistance for Sunbridge Early Childhood, Elementary, and High School program students who are preparing for careers in Waldorf education. The purpose of this scholarship is to help individuals whose cultural heritage and life experiences bring unique perspectives and gifts to Waldorf students.

    Scholarship funds will be distributed evenly over the course of their program's year. If a student does not attend a session, scholarship funds will be withheld.

    PLEASE NOTE: World Languages & Cultures students and Elementary Music students are NOT eligible for this scholarship.

  • Eligibility requirements

  • Pathways to Waldorf Scholarship applicants must:

    • Be accepted into or already enrolled in a Sunbridge Early Childhood, Elementary, or High School Teacher Education diploma program. (Students enrolled in our certificate programs -- World Languages & Cultures and Elementary Music Teacher Education -- are NOT eligible for this scholarship.)
    • Be currently working in, or intending to work in, a Waldorf school 
    • Submit an application essay (below)

    Note: When determining awards, financial need will be taken into consideration. Scholarship amounts are dependent on available funds.

    • How your background and life experiences have shaped you to pursue becoming a Waldorf teacher

    • How you see Waldorf education in your future

    • Anything else you would like us to know about you
