  • A full day of practical boating education, real-world advice, great stories, good conversation, and lunch—all designed to help you become a safer, smarter, and more confident boater.

    The Confident Boater is a $295 full-day boating education experience.

    As part of Sunshine’s commitment to supporting safer, more knowledgeable boaters in our local community, a limited number of Confident Boater Scholarships are available for each class.

    Selected applicants receive a scholarship reducing their registration to just $25. And because boating is always better with a friend, scholarship recipients may bring one guest at no additional cost.

    A limited number of 100% scholarships are also awarded for each class, providing complimentary admission for the scholarship recipient and their guest.

    Current Sunshine clients automatically receive a 100% scholarship as one of the benefits of being part of the Sunshine family.

    Your day includes six hours of interactive classroom instruction, course materials, lunch, snacks, and refreshments.

    Scholarships are limited and awarded through the application process.
