Certified Engineering Surveyor Summary
Surveyors Australia, in partnership with the Geospatial Council of Australia, provides certification to formally recognise industry competence in Engineering Surveying. This certification supports career progression, industry credibility, and compliance with professional standards.
Certification Levels & Requirements
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility (qualifications + experience)
- Complete the online application
- Submit required documents (Certified qualifications, Resumé, Referee Report, Work Experience Examples, Executive Summary)
- Pay the application fee
- Attend a Candidate Interview (30 min, online)
- Certification decision (typically within 4 weeks

- Clear & Relevant Evidence: Signed reports, survey control adjustments, and data processing files.
- Strong Evidence: Official documentation > Generic job descriptions.
