• Carlton County Messages to 2076

Digital Media & Letter Submission Form
  • Carlton County Messages to 2076 is a community time capsule project inviting the people of Carlton County to preserve the stories, perspectives, and experiences that define life in 2026. Together, we're creating a collection that will remain sealed until the nation's 300th Anniversary in 2076.

We invite you to submit digital media—including historical records, oral histories (video, audio, or trascription), maps, publications, original music, original films, poems, and other artifacts related to Carlton County in the year 2026.

We also invite you to submit letters for the people who will open the time capsule in 2076 sharing your hopes, memories, reflections, or advice for future generations.

After submitting, you have the option to fill out the form again for additional submissions. For questions or technical assistance, contact Carlton County Historical Society Director, Thomlin Swan, at director@carltoncountycountyhistory.org or (218) 879-1938.
