  • Sydney Festival is looking for crew for the 2027 Festival!

    Each year the festival has a wide range of crewing requirements across all of our venues from early January, through until the end of the month. Crew needed include everything from site crew to help set up outdoor festival sites to people with experience in theatre lighting, sound or wardrobe.

     

    Festival Dates: Thurs 7 Jan - Mon 25 Jan 2027

    Festival Period (when we need crew): Start of Jan - End of Jan 2027

    Crew Briefing BBQ: 5pm on Mon 7 Dec 2026

    To apply, you MUST be an Australian citizen or hold a valid visa that provides work rights in Australia. You will be asked to supply proof if your application is successful.

  • NEXT STEPS

    A lot of things have to happen behind the scenes to allow us to start to allocate crew so your patience is appreciated. The earlier you supply your information, then the earlier we know that you are interested and available. We receive a huge number of crew applications and with 90+ shows, this is not a speedy process. We will be working fast and furiously behind the scenes to make it happen so please be patient!
