WOMAD AOTEAROA 2025 - Poetry Slam Entry Form

• You must have a poem of 3 minutes or less to submit via video
• Your poem must be an original piece
• You must own the right to use all music & images on the video. 
• If you're selected for the slam, you will be supplied with a Saturday ticket for the 2025 festival - this does not include travel or accomodation. 
  
• Once selected for the slam you must be free on Saturday 15th of March to perform at the festival AND if you win the slam, you must also be available to perform on Sunday 16 March. A Sunday ticket will be provided to the winner only.

The prize for the WOMAD AOTEAROA 2025 Poetry Slam winner will be x 2 3-Day VIP passes to WOMAD AOTEAROA 2026!

Zipping files with Windows XP

Select your file. Right-click on your selection to bring up the context menu, and move your mouse over Send To, revealing a new menu. Click on Compressed (zipped) folder. You will see a new file icon appear in your Explorer window, representing the new zip archive that you’ve created.

Creating a compressed archive with Mac OS X

Select your file, then click on the word File in the top left corner of your screen. In the new menu that appears, locate and click on Create archive of …., which will be followed by the name(s) of your selection. A new file will appear, representing the compressed zip archive containing all the original files you selected. This new file will have a .zip file extension.
