Everyone at TES is a volunteer! We have board members, staff (who are generally chair or vice chairs of committees) and volunteers who assist on various committees. Board members also serve as chairs/vice chairs and/or volunteers in addition to their duties managing the organization. A lot of volunteers with TES work in multiple committees.
There are opportunities in several committees:
Community Relations Committee

- Help us reconnect with the wider community by attending other munches and events. You'll also research online opportunities to expand our presence and knowledge. Help build rebuild and maintain reciprocal relationships with other groups and businesses.
Operations Committee
- Volunteers (In-person NYC)
- Operations is responsible for managing event logistics, including guest registration, check-in, and seating. Acts as the primary point of contact for attendees, providing a welcoming presence and distributing information. Ensures all event supplies and materials are managed, and facilities are properly maintained.
POC (People of Color) Committee
- Volunteers (In-person NYC/Remote)
- The POC Committee is dedicated to making The Eulenspiegel Society more inclusive and ensuring the voices of our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) members are heard and represented.
Programming Committee/Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
- SIG Leaders and Volunteers (In-person NYC)
- Are you passionate about a specific topic? We need leaders and volunteers for SIGs like Novices and Newcomers, Submission/Bottoming, Hypno, and Bondage. You can also propose a new group! Leaders will plan classes and events.
Promotions Committee

- Help us with our daily and weekly posts on FetLife, create social media graphics and post and manage our social media platforms.
Socials Committee
- Volunteers (In-person NYC)
- Help us bring back our post-pandemic socials, events, and parties! This is a collaborative committee that works closely with other departments. Do you have Dungeon Monitor experience? Our DM's primary goal is safety within the play spaces and facilitating fun! We will need several volunteers including experienced DMs who are capable of training the team.

- This is one of our most important committees. Its goal is to recruit, retain, and reward the people who make TES run. If you have fresh ideas for how to do this, we welcome you!

The time commitment necessary to volunteer with TES varies between positions and departments. We don't currently have events or socials, so DMs, socials and equipment committees don't have much to do yet. We are working to revive those things and need people in place to support those goals.
Volunteers work as few as one or two hours a month, ie: helping with a class (or party) all the way up to the folks in promotions who work a few minutes every day. It takes lots of people with various skills, experience and time to run an all volunteer organization! Our goal is to build a diverse, inclusive organization that can continue to grow, by working together for freedom and fulfillment.
