The following steps are required:
1. Apply for TJC Admission
Submit an admissions application online at TJC.edu/apply (If you have taken dual-credit classes at TJC, you must re-apply for admission as a full-time student.)
Submit official high school transcript to the Admissions Office AFTER completion of high school graduation (transcript must include date of graduation).
Submit vaccination records to the Admissions Office prior to upcoming fall registration.
2. Apply for the TJC Honors Program (this form)
The following items are required to complete this process. Please have them ready before you begin filling out the application:
- A wallet-sized professional quality photograph
- A high school transcript with any applicable test scores (ACT, SAT, STAAR)
- A current college transcript (if applicable)

3. Apply for the Presidential Honors Scholarship
The scholarship application is open October 1st - April 1st for the following fall semester. Check tjc.edu/scholarships for more information.
4. Apply for On-Campus Housing
Tyler Junior College honors students have the opportunity to live together in a dedicated living space. If you are interested in residing in the Honors LLC, please indicate your interest on the housing application. Please note that space in the Honors LLC is limited, and we recommend completing your application as soon as possible. Apply for housing online at TJC.edu/housing - Priority deadline March 1.
5: Apply for Financial Aid
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.gov - Priority deadline April 1.
