    Must Meet ALL Eligibility Criteria:

    • Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
    • Must be an arts based performance: Arts-based performance is defined as work that primarily uses artistic mediums (theatre, dance, music, visual arts, spoken word poetry, etc.) as the vehicle for expression, rather than direct informational delivery. The artistic form should be integral to the experience, not just a delivery method for content.
    • Must have a secured performance date on the Bank of America Performing Arts Center calendar.
    • Performance must be available for the public to attend.
    • Performance must have secured additional funding. TOArts does not fund more than 50% of TOTAL direct performance costs of performance.
    • ALL questions must be answered (except for Additional Comments)

     Notes about Funding

    • Funding will not be provided in support of performances that are primarily for fundraising or what may be considered partisan purposes.
    • Funds if granted will be paid directly to the theatre to offset no more than 50% of total performance costs.

  • Successful applicants will receive a credit which will be paid directly to the City of Thousand Oaks Cultural and Community Services Department (CCS). This will be posted as a credit on the CCS settlement statement for the designated performance.

    Theatre credit may not be used as a qualifying deposit to secure a date on the Bank of America Performing Arts Center calendar.

    TOArts performance credits will be awarded based on available funds and will not exceed 50% of the direct production costs of the performance.
