Community Boating 2023 Request
Welcome to Tacoma Boat Builders' Community Boating! We offer the opportunity for community members to get out on the Thea Foss Waterway for a chance to relax, have fun, and experience boating in human- and sail-powered wooden boats and canoes. No experience is necessary. You will be accompanied by two of our staff members. There is a six person maximum (if you have fewer than six people in your party, you may have other community members participate in the same session). Please only sign up for 1 time slot to make sure this opportunity is available for others as well!

Important Details About Your Boating Day
1) We will start the session by completing waivers for each participant and reviewing a safety briefing before going out on the water. *You are welcome to print and complete the PDF waivers for you and each of your party members ahead of time using the form below. 2) Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 3) In the case of inclement weather, we will be in touch to reschedule your boating day. 4) Items to bring with you: a) water bottle b) sunscreen c) bag for personal items 5) We will provide: a) life jackets b) a light snack (if you have any dietary restrictions, we suggest you bring your own snack)
