  • Thank you for choosing Talbot & Associates for the preparation of your income tax return.

Once we have received your complete information, we will begin preparing your return. When your retun has been prepared, it will be reviewed by a senior staff member, and then again by one of our partners to ensure that it is correct and to ensure that we have helped you take advantage of all tax saving opportunities.

Our general timeline for personal tax returns is about 2 weeks. When your return is ready, our Directors of First Impressions will reach out to let you know. After we have received signatures authorizing us to file and payment for our services, we will file your return.

Note that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) occasionally reviews tax returns. These processing reviews are a normal part of their process and are not an indication that anything in your return is incorrect. If you receive a CRA notification of a processing review and would like assistance in responding to it, please let us know. Our fees for helping you respond to a processing review or audit would be based on the complexity of the response.

If you have any questions about our process or your tax return, please let us know. We look forward to working with you!
