NEW THIS YEAR! Charms is now a thing of the past! (Returning band parents rejoice!).
That said, the district has opted to utilize a system called CutTime, which is a music program management system. This system uses phone numbers to create parent/guardian profiles.
You no longer need a username/password for your child's account.
That said, the directors must have an up-to-date phone number on record in order to create your account.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
As we obtain phone numbers through Band Registration, we will begin populating the Guardian Profiles in CutTime.

When we upload your phone number, you will receive a text from CutTime containing what is called a "Magic Link". This link is unique to you and you will need to save it! Do not share this link.
The first time you select the link, it will ask you to select "Send Verification Code". Return to your texts and input the code. That's it! Super simple!
Once you have entered the code, it will take you to your child's account any time you select the link. In your child's account, you can select your child's name to view announcements, instrument usage documents, and band fee assessments.
Note: This system is still very new to the band directors, and we are going to be learning how to use it right along with you! Please be patient if there are kinks in the system for us to work out - we will do our best to work out any issues as quickly as we can, but we might sometimes be at the mercy of customer service.
FAQ:
"What if I do not wish to receive texts for my child?"
The directors will still default to emails as our primary means of communication! If you do not wish to receive texts from CutTime, please email Ms. Taylor. Your primary account will need to be set up via text, but after that we believe we can remove your phone number and it should default to emails.
"What if I lose my magic link?"
There is a place to obtain it! We will keep that link at the top of the band newsletter for you in case you lose your link after you set up your acount.
"When will I get my magic link?"
The directors will be working on inputting parents into this new system as quickly as we can. If you do not receive your link within a week of completing registration, please reach out to your child's director. It could be for a variety of reasons, including: possible failure to submit band registration, incorrect phone number shared, your phone blocks texts from unknown recipients, somehow the text didn't go through and we need to retry your link.
"Do I have to pay my fees through CutTime? I'm not comfortable with this form of payment."
Nope! Band fees can be paid via check made out to PBBC or cash. We just ask that check/cash payments please be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with your child's first and last name, band class, and what you're paying for (Ie: "Band fees, instrument fee, hawaiian falls ticket") and turned in to the "Black Box" in the band hall.
"I lost my username/password."
Actually, there is no longer a username or password! Just the link that the system sent you via text. If you lost your link, check reynoldsband.com/news for more information on how to access your link.
