    • Consulting or Contract Work: Any organization you currently provide paid services to as a consultant, contractor, or advisor
    • Ownership: Any business or entity in which you hold a full or partial ownership stake, including silent partnerships and investment entities
    • Board or Advisory Service: Any organization where you currently serve in a formal advisory or governance capacity

    Record a video 2-3 minutes explaining, "What are you excited to bring to the NARPM Board of Directors".

    The quality of video, location, background, etc. does not really matter. The video is not to be professionally produced.   If chosen as a candidate, your video will be shared with NARPM members on NARPM.org with your bio.

    Your video should address all of the following:

    • Who you are and what you bring. Not your resume, we have that. Tell us why you specifically belong in this seat.
    • What you know about what this board actually does. Show us you understand the responsibility you are asking to take on.
      NARPM's current strategic plan. Tell us which part of it you are most excited to contribute to and why.
    • Why now. Why are you the right person for this moment in NARPM's history?

    If selected as a NARPM Director you will be required to personally attend no fewer than five (5) meetings of the board scheduled is as follows:

    • Capitol Summit

    • Broker/Owner Conference & Expo

    • National Convention

    • National Convention Site Visit

    • NARPM® National Strategic Planning – Board of Directors Members must still attend consistent with current policy, and newly elected Board of Directors Members will be required to attend.

    All events will include a Board of Directors Meeting except NARPM® National Strategic Planning

The application process is confidential and I hereby agree not to disclose or discuss confidential issues with parties outside of the nominating committee. The Leadership Development Committee may choose to call Committee Chair(s) during reference checks, or other people that worked with me during my NARPM® volunteer time (excluding National President and President-Elect), and ask the same set of questions on my performance as a volunteer.*
