Introduction to the Path of a Peacemaker

Do you desire a better way of navigating conflict biblically to heal broken relationships? Do you desire to have peace-filled relationships? This training is an introduction to help you begin a new path toward peace. This training guides you through an examination of your own personal story, identifying your hopes and fears. It invites you to understand and embrace God's approach to conflict, take personal responsibility for your own part in conflict, and connect with others in a spirit of humility as you listen first, ask for forgiveness, and move forward, even if the conflict remains unresolved. The Path of a Peacemaker training is designed to prepare you for a conversation with another person, with a goal of reconciliation and restoring the relationship.

Laurie Stewart is a wife, mom, stepmom, lawyer, mediator, Christian Conciliator, law school adjunct professor, and former liberal feminist turned follower of Jesus Christ. She serves as CEO & President of Peacemaker Ministries, where she brings together her legal, theological, teaching, and peacemaking experience to help people encounter the reconciling power of the gospel in real conflict.

Over the years, she has helped parties resolve disputes inside and outside of court and has conflict resolution to churches, schools, legal professionals, and ministry leaders across the U.S., Africa, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Laurie and her husband, John, live in Southern California and enjoy life with their three grown daughters and one very spunky German Shepherd.
