    Successful healed results depend on many factors including skin type, medications, health conditions, lifestyle, sun exposure, and proper aftercare.     Lip blushing can enhance your lip color and shape, but it may trigger HSV-1 (Herpes Simplex Virus) outbreaks due to the trauma to lip tissue.The procedure can cause trauma, potentially triggering an HSV-1 outbreak even if the virus has been dormant.


    Preventive Measures:

    • Consult your healthcare provider about taking antiviral medications like Valtrex (valacyclovir).
