When it comes to creating employee training, developing strategic plans, interviewing new hires, being part of committees, and other organizational decision-making, take a look at who’s sitting at the table. Do you include people receiving services? Direct support professionals? Family members? Organizations that are inclusive of diverse perspectives will have a more well-rounded outlook, proactively identify and address challenges, build investment in their initiatives, and create a positive culture.
In the virtual training ‘Promoting Inclusive Organizational Practices,’ attendees will learn specific steps to not only ensure that the right people are sitting at the table, but also that they’re contributing in meaningful ways. We’ll explore successful strategies to pull in the perspectives of various stakeholders, and turn that insight into action. In this interactive session, participants will come together to learn, share, and grow – through breakout groups, real-world examples, and activities.
