Build Confidence, Skills, and Connection as a New or Emerging Leader

New to a leadership role? Congratulations! Wondering what comes next?

Stepping into a leadership role can be exciting and overwhelming all at once, especially when you’re navigating supervision, team dynamics, and accountability for the first time. The Leadership Essentials Workshop is designed specifically for new and emerging leaders in the disability field who want practical tools, supportive learning, and space to grow. Across three interactive sessions, you’ll develop core leadership skills grounded in inclusion, belonging, and real‑world best practices—so you can lead with confidence and purpose from day one.

Who should sign up?

Leaders who are new (or new-ish) to leadership roles that include management, supervision, and team accountability responsibilities. This is also a great training for leaders who have been in these roles, but want to finally or further develop their essential leadership skills!

Dates

This three-session workshop will be held on Wednesdays, June 10th, 17th, and 24th, from 2:00 pm ET to 5:00 pm ET

Cost

The total cost for entire workshop (all three sessions) is $300 per person.

Submitting Payment

There is a 3% convenience fee for online transactions if an organization chooses that payment method. NLCDD prefers payment via invoice/check or using an automated clearing house (ACH) network. This allows organizations to take advantage of the most cost-effective payment option and avoid the convenience fee. Note: If you choose to pay online, the automated receipt may incorrectly display the 3% convenience fee as a sales tax. This fee is not a sales tax, but only displays that way due how the processing system inputs the information.
