We all have goals, whether it’s pursuing a new career, nurturing an important friendship, booking that dream vacation, or working on a cool hobby. Yet according to Personal Outcome Measures® (POM) data, only 64% of people receiving services are realizing their goals. Along with that, just 53.1% of people have supports in help them realize their goals. There’s a clear gap here, between people being supported involving their goals, and those dreams becoming a reality.
During the virtual training ‘Translating Plans into Extraordinary, Ordinary Lives,’ attendees will discover how to move from mere planning to clear action. We’re sharing specific steps providers can take to help ensure their services are having a clear, demonstrable, meaningful impact on people’s lives. In this interactive session, participants will work through realistic scenarios in the disability services sector, and develop solutions for supporting people to achieve their goals! You’ll leave this session with a slew of strategies, resources, and ideas that you can start working on right when the training ends.
