We all have goals, whether it’s pursuing a new career, nurturing an important friendship, booking that dream vacation, or working on a cool hobby. Yet according to Personal Outcome Measures® (POM) data, only 64% of people receiving services are realizing their goals. Along with that, just 53.1% of people have supports in help them realize their goals. There’s a clear gap here, between people being supported involving their goals, and those dreams becoming a reality.

During the virtual training ‘Translating Plans into Extraordinary, Ordinary Lives,’ attendees will discover how to move from mere planning to clear action. We’re sharing specific steps providers can take to help ensure their services are having a clear, demonstrable, meaningful impact on people’s lives. In this interactive session, participants will work through realistic scenarios in the disability services sector, and develop solutions for supporting people to achieve their goals! You’ll leave this session with a slew of strategies, resources, and ideas that you can start working on right when the training ends.

    Training Objectives

    • Review eye-opening data about the impact of supports on people’s lives
    • Bridge the gap between planning and putting it into action
    • Learn strategies for supporting individually-defined goals
    • Collaborate with attendees to identify planning challenges and solutions
    • Discover dozens of tips for developing action plans

  • Registrants from organizations that are pursuing or have achieved CQL Accreditation can receive a 5% discount on this training. If you meet those eligibility requirements, please contact CQL prior to registering so we can provide a coupon code.

There is a 3% convenience fee for online transactions if an organization chooses that payment method. CQL prefers payment via invoice/check or using an automated clearing house (ACH) network. This allows organizations to take advantage of the most cost-effective payment option and avoid the convenience fee. Please contact CQL for more information about these preferred payment options.

Note: If you choose to pay online, the automated receipt may incorrectly display the 3% convenience fee as a sales tax. This fee is not a sales tax, but only displays that way due how the processing system inputs the information.
