The deadline for submitting this bursary application is April 30, 2025. If awarded, payments are made twice per academic year. Proof of acceptance needs to be submitted by the 15th of the preceding month before your term begins.

Payment will be made directly to the student. Payment is to be returned to The Children’s Foundation if you withdraw within 1 month from the program.

A personal reference form is required to accompany all first-time Bursary applicants. Your referee will need to fill out this form.

Conditions for accepting a Children's Foundation Bursary
By submitting this application, you are agreeing to the following conditions:

Information in this application is confidential. Submitted applications will be read by The Children’s Foundation staff and/or TCF Board of Directors and/or selected committee members.

Non-identifying information about you may be shared with bursary donors after bursary recipients are matched with an award.

All recipients are encouraged to attend The Children’s Foundation’s Reach for Success Award event on June 19, 2025, at The Grand, Belleville to receive their award. You may be asked to be photographed with the donor of your award. These photographs are used for Children’s Foundation marketing materials and are optional.

A reference for support
To apply for the Reach for Success Scholarships offered by The Children's Foundation, a reference from a notable individual in the applicant's life is required.

This reference should provide the selection committee with a comprehensive understanding of how the bursary award will affect the student's education journey.

We encourage you to provide a thorough and comprehensive explanation that showcases the student's strengths, goals, and potential in order to present a well-rounded picture of the candidate's potential.
