The Patricia Davis Community Garden and The Fruitful Field are happy to announce a partnership with Feeding Florida/Florida Organic Growers to announce a new opportunity for residents living or attending/teaching schools between Copans Rd on the North, Atlantic Blvd on the south, I-95 on the west and Dixie Highway on the East to participate in a Fresh Food Box program. We thank the City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach CRA for their support.
Participants pre-register and pick up a box of freshly harvested, locally grown produce weekly from November 13 through April 15.
About the Program
The Good Food Box program is a community-based food distribution program designed to make good and fresh food more accessible to everyone in your community! Food is grown at The Patricia Davis Community Garden on NW 6th Avenue or The Fruitful Field in Deerfield Beach.
Each Good Food Box contains a variety of veggies and fruits that change as the season progresses. We will include nutritional information and recipes in the box. Care to share- provide your favorite recipe, and we might include it in the Fresh Food Box!
What's in it for you?
Savings: Customers save on average 25-30% from their purchases.
Fresh, organically grown food is nutritious and delicious.
A green conscience: We grow locally to bring you seasonal and local foods that travel fewer miles from field to table.
Deadline for Ordering
All orders must be made by Friday before the pick-up day of the following week. You are registering for weekly food pick-up.
Pick up Day
Wednesdays, 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Please provide a one hour time window, so that we have your produce freshly harvested for your enjoyment.
