All boat and PWC storage is subject to a 7-month minimum, regardless of how long the unit remains in storage. There are no refunds or adjustments if storage ends before the 7-month period expires. Storage beyond the 7-month period will be prorated through the unit’s actual pickup date. The daily rate is calculated by dividing the monthly storage fee by 30 and multiplying it by the number of additional days. A separate invoice will be sent in the spring. Customers must request spring pickup or launch at least 3 weeks in advance. Appointments are scheduled based on availability and preferred dates are not guaranteed. If a customer provides less than 3 weeks’ notice, waits until the schedule is full, misses the scheduled pickup, or cannot be accommodated on the preferred date because the request was submitted late, prorated storage charges will continue through the actual pickup date. Submitting a pickup request does not stop storage billing.

    Storage Payment Policy

To simplify billing, customers may either pay for storage in full or enroll in an automatic seven-month payment plan.

Customers paying by check or cash must make one payment for the full storage balance. Checks can no longer be used for the seven-month payment plan due to processing complications.

To use the seven-month payment plan, a debit card, credit card, or ACH bank account must be kept on file so payments can be processed automatically.

If paying in full by check, a card must still be kept on file. If the balance has not been paid by the unit’s drop-off date, the card on file will be charged.

    Payment Options:

    Debit card: No fee
    ACH bank payment: No fee
    Credit card: 3% processing fee
Check: No fee; payment in full only
We apologize for any inconvenience. This change will make the storage and billing process smoother and more reliable for our customers and staff.

To discuss payment options, please email Courtney at courtney@paboatshop.com.

Lessee agrees that all charges for space rental, repairs, gas, oil, hardware, accessories or any other services or materials accruing under the terms of this contract shall give the Lessor a valid lien upon Lessee’s boat and/or motor and trailer and that no boat shall be removed from the lessor’s premises until all charges are fully paid. Interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (APR 18%). Will be added on all past due accounts.  An account is past due 30 days following the due date. Lessee agrees to all terms and conditions located on the back of the page. IT IS AGREED THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS PERFORMABLE AND VENUE SHALL BE IN PIKE COUNTY, STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA.  ALL NOTICES REQUIRED BY THIS LEASE OR AT LAW SHALL BE TO THE ADDRESSES STATED HEREIN, LESSEE’S CERTIFY THAT THE PRINTED MATTER ON BOTH FRONT AND BACK OF THIS AGREEMENT HAS BEEN READ AND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN ARE FULLY UNDERSTOOD.  LESSEE(S) FURTHER CERTIFY THAT THEY HAVE EXAMINED THE SPACE IN WHICH THE SUBJECT BOAT IS TO BE PLACED AND FIND IT SUITABLE AND ACCEPTABLE. THIS SPACE LEASE AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AND CONDITIONS: INSURANCE: The Lessor does not carry insurance covering the property of the Lessee. The Lessor will not be responsible for any injuries or property damage resulting from, caused by, or growing out of the use of the facilities of Lessor, and Lessee does hereby release and discharge the Lessor from any and all liability for loss, injury (including death), or damages to persons or property sustained while in or on the premises of Lessor, including fire, theft, vandalism, windstorm, high or low waters, hail, rain, ice, collision, or accident, or any other act of God. Lessee agrees to keep the boat fully insured with complete marine insurance, including hull coverage and/or liability insurance. NON-ASSIGNMENT OF SPACE: It is agreed between Lessor and Lessee that Lessee shall not assign, transfer, or permit the use of assigned space to any other party without the express written consent of Lessor. ELIMINATION OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: Cooking, smoking, or the use of any open flame is prohibited inside or outside the boat in the dry storage area. All non-permanent gas tanks, containers of liquid or gaseous fuels, solvents, flares, matches, or any other inflammable materials must be removed before placement in dry storage. No combustible or dangerous materials will be allowed to collect in or around the boat at any time. The Lessee further agrees to keep the storage area free and clear of all gear, tackle, and other obstructions. Fire extinguishers in good working order must be on board. SURVEY AND INSPECTION: The Lessee authorizes Lessor to thoroughly survey the boat for fire hazards at hauling or prior to moving to dry storage. Lessee understands that this regulation is formulated, enforced, and conducted solely for the protection of Lessor. The promulgation and enforcement of these rules and regulations, and the conducting of a survey, will not subject Lessor to any duty or liability to the Lessee with respect to fire or explosion prevention or detection. In general, any survey will be solely at the discretion of the Lessor. REMOVAL OF PERSONAL PROPERTY: The Lessee should remove any personal property from the boat prior to dry storage. It is understood and agreed that Lessor will not be responsible for any items or personal property left in the boat. PROTECTIVE COVERING: The Lessee assumes full responsibility for providing adequate covering to protect the boat from any and all perils, and for the proper maintenance of such covering while the boat is on or in the premises of Lessor. ALL SPACE RENTAL FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE: It is understood and agreed that no boat is to be removed from its space unless, and until, all charges for space rental, service, and/or material have been paid in full. If Lessee becomes delinquent in rental payments, the Lessee being properly notified of such delinquency as may be required by law, the Lessor shall have the right to take over the property of the Lessee and to secure the property to the space occupied, or store it at another location. Lessee agrees that in the event suit is brought on behalf of the Lessor against the Lessee to collect any amount due or to become due hereunder, or to enforce Lessor’s lien on the property of Lessee, the Lessee shall pay the Lessor’s reasonable attorney fees for such suit or collection plus costs, as provided by law, or to take any other remedies available to Lessor under the law. Should any term or condition of this Space Rental Agreement be held void or unenforceable, then that term shall be deemed severed from this agreement and the enforceability of the remainder shall not be affected and will remain in full force and effect. Indoor Storage Availability Indoor storage is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed until your required deposit is received. Space is limited and will be assigned based on the order in which deposits are received. If indoor storage space is no longer available when your deposit is received, your unit will be placed in outdoor storage. Applicable outdoor storage rates and requirements will apply. RULES AND REGULATIONS: The rules and regulations contained herein and as posted in the office or on the grounds by Lessor are for the safety and welfare of all who use the facilities. It is further understood and agreed that while the boat is stored, the Lessee and/or their guests shall become subject to all rules and regulations formulated by Lessor. Lessee agrees that all duly posted rules and regulations are reasonable, that Lessee has read and understands said rules and regulations, and further assumes the responsibility to ensure that his/her guests will obey the rules. Any infraction of the rules and regulations contained herein or as posted in the office shall, at the option of Lessor, cancel this Space Rental Agreement upon proper notice to Lessee, and the Lessee shall remove Lessee’s boat or rig from the premises. The Lessor shall not be responsible for delays in hauling, winter layup, commissioning, or launching due to bad weather or for any other reasons beyond its control. ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the Lessee and the Lessor, and no other representation or inducement, verbal or written, has been made which is not contained in this agreement.

Slip Customers Who Store With The Boat Shop
Beginning immediately after Labor Day, we will start removing storage customers’ boats from their slips.

Units located closer to shore may be pulled first. We cannot guarantee the exact day your unit will be removed because we have a short haul-out window, one ramp, and a limited number of tractors. We also need to create space for non-slip storage customers who must drop their boats off by water.

If you would like to use your boat after Labor Day, you may call or text us on the day you plan to use it. We will let you know if it is still in the water. We cannot confirm availability in advance because the haul-out schedule may change daily.

We will try to winterize units as soon as possible after they are removed. However, winterization may not happen the same day, and billing may be delayed while we process all units.

    Storage Customers Without a Slip
Whenever possible, please bring your unit to us by trailer instead of by water.

The final date for water drop-off is September 20, 2026. After that date, we may need to use a public ramp to remove your unit, and an additional public-ramp and transportation charge may apply.

Trailer-delivered units may be dropped off after the water deadline.

If you have not already scheduled your drop-off, you can do so through our website. After you submit your storage form, a scheduling link will be provided on the confirmation screen.
