Edward T. Covington Scholarship Application
Edward T. Covington Scholars are highly gifted students who strive for excellence and are creative thinkers who have a passion for learning. ETC Scholars exhibit resilience, honesty and integrity, in addition to exemplary leadership inside and outside the classroom through peer mentorship and community service.

Eligibility
- US Citizen who resides in the US
- Current High School Senior
- Minimum 3.5 GPA (High School)
- Maintain minimum 3.5 GPA in each college semester
- Standardized Test Scores (85th percentile/top 10 percent)
- Household Income <$200k
Selection Process

All applicants must submit their application and associated materials by May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Only completed applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified by July 15, 2026.

The Edward T. Covington (ETC) Scholarship provides a minimum award of $2,500 and is renewable for up to four years, contingent upon continued eligibility. Award funds will be issued directly to the recipient’s educational institution or program.

Recommendation Requirement: A minimum of ONE letter of recommendation from a math, science, or English teacher is required. A maximum of two letters can be submitted.
