Edward T. Covington Scholars are high-achieving, intellectually curious students who strive for excellence and demonstrate creativity in their thinking. They exhibit resilience, honesty, and integrity, and model exemplary leadership both inside and outside the classroom through peer mentorship and meaningful community service.

Eligibility
- US Citizen who resides in the US
- Current High School Senior
- Minimum 3.5 GPA (High School)
- Maintain minimum 3.5 GPA in each college semester
- Standardized Test Scores (85th percentile/top 10 percent) - Optional
- Household Income <$200k
Selection Process

All applicants must submit their application and associated materials by May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Only completed applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified by July 15, 2026.

The Edward T. Covington (ETC) Scholarship provides a minimum award of $2,500 and is renewable for up to four years, contingent upon continued eligibility. Award funds will be issued directly to the recipient’s educational institution or program.
