Auditions for Theatre Charlotte's The Flick

Audition Dates: Sunday, December 7th from 6:00pm to 9pm and Monday, December 8th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm (by appointment only).

Audition Location: Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207

Auditions will consist of a prepared monologue from the script and some improv character work. Sides can be found here.

Auditionees will not be asked to perform acts of intimacy, physical contact or violence during auditions.

Performance Dates: February 12-21, 2026 at Theatre Charlotte and the Independent Picture house.

SCHEDULE/CONFLICTS
Rehearsals are scheduled to begin before Christmas with a table read and rehearsals will be tentatively scheduled Sundays through Thursdays from 6:00pm until 9:30pm but are subject to change during the rehearsal period. The performance and tech schedule is as follows:

SCHEDULE YOUR AUDITION

Auditions will be held on December 7th from 6pm to 9pm and December 8th from 6:30-9:00pm at Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207. Please select a 30 minute time slot from the options below. You will be reading scenes from the script and may be asked to stay beyond your audition window to read with others. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AN AUDITION SLOT IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING IN PERSON.

VIDEO AUDITIONS: If you are unable to attend auditions please submit a video audition here. Videos should include a short monologue (up to one minute). If you are unable to upload a video, please send it (or a video link) to auditions@theatrecharlotte.org.
