Welcome to Myths & Legends puppy application. Thank you in advance for your time in filling out our application. We know that this may seem like a ton of questions, but we promise it is just the best way to get to know you and your family and to ensure that our puppies are placed in the best possible situations.

There are no Right or Wrong answers to our questions. We know that every family is different, and that people have a variety of lifestyles that can still work with a puppy. These questions help us identify individuals who are experienced with the breed and identify those who might want and need some extra guidance. We will look through and consider every application that we receive and hope to place a new family member in your home!

At one week of age we will allow our approved buyers to make their picks with a $200 non-refundable deposit. At that time we will also call pup by your chosen name and send video and photo updates until its time for your new baby to come home.

Puppies will only be held after one week of age with deposit placed ( unless otherwise agreed upon ) Otherwise we will move down the list to the next waiting home.

*** Puppies will be available to go to their forever homes between the ages of 9 & 12 weeks depending on the puppy's overall development. ***

Huskies are an amazing breed but are not for everyone.

They will require a life long commitment of patience and training. A Husky can know its commands inside out and backwords but if they do not feel like doing them, they will not.

They are very vocal. So this is not always ideal for an apartment setting.

They are a working breed, origionally raised to pull sleds which means they WILL PULL when on a leash, this will need to be worked with. This also means they are high energy and need to be stimulated and exercised DAILY.

These beauties also shed a lot, typically twice a year they will " blow their coat" this means they will lose their undercoat causing massive amounts of fur to continuously drop. Double coat dogs CAN NOT be shaved and should be groomed on a regular basis to help protect and prevent their undercoat from getting matted.

They are a pack animal, which means they will try to claim "alpha" status with any animals and people in the home. This means lots of time, patience and training will need to be a regular part of their entire life.

They love to be outside and they loooooove to dig, dig and dig some more.

Will you be able to pick up your puppy in person in Battle Creek, MI?*
Siberian Huskies require frequent grooming. They are notorious for the amount they shed. Shaving is never an option for a husky!! Are you able to commit to the amount of grooming care huskies need or are you willing to take them to a professional groomer?*
Do you agree to give us follow-up reports and photos from time to time?*
This dog is being sold with Limited AKC rights. Which means this dog WILL NOT be bred. Do you understand and agree to this? *
All puppies sold with limited AKC are required to be spayed or neutered within 2 years of age and proof is to be sent to sellers.*
We do not allow third party sales. This puppy/dog will not be sold or given to an animal control, rescue/ shelter or Other person. The puppy/dog will come back to us if for any reason you are unable to keep it. Do you understand and agree?*

Expectations
This Application is the first step of acquiring a puppy from Myths and Legends Siberian Huskies. This does NOT guarantee that you will receive a puppy from this or any future litter. While it is unlikely, Myths and legends does reserve the right to refuse any placement at any time.

If this application is approved, you will be notified when the puppies are ready to be picked (or born if unborn) At that time the $200 non-refundable deposit is due once the puppies reach 1 Week of age (unless otherwise agreed upon) to hold the puppy of your choosing. Please note: if you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter, Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the deposit is forfeited. We do the best to match preferences but we can NOT guarantee eye or coat color. Deposits are non-refundable.

Myths and Legends does reserve the right to hold any puppy from any litter, as we do sometimes keep a puppy from a litter. This may mean that certain puppies may not be available for a couple of weeks until we decide if we are keeping said puppy or not.

Puppies will not go home any sooner than 9 weeks (No Exceptions) and we do reserve the right to hold puppies up to 12 weeks of age if we feel they need further development. Puppies must be picked up within 7 days of written agreement unless otherwise arranged.

Myths and Legends will not place a puppy in its new home without a signed contract We want to assure the safety of all parties involved. Limited registration will require - 3 references (one being vet information) a copy of a valid Photo ID, also a copy or article of mail (can be junk mail). If you have any questions about specific terms, please contact us beforehand.

If you purchase a puppy with Limited Registration, we do require spay/neuter at or before 2 years (24 months) of age. Proof of the procedure from your vet is required before we will release the said dog’s registration papers.
