April is Water Conservation Month! At Toho Water Authority, we are more committed to this initiative than ever. By taking this pledge, you are committing to preserving our most precious resource. Small changes in daily habits—like fixing leaks, using water-efficient appliances, and being mindful of outdoor irrigation—can make a big impact. Together, we can ensure a sustainable water future for generations to come!

I pledge to make the following choices INSIDE to conserve water:
Take shorter showers
Identify and fix water leaks around the house
Wash only full loads of laundry and dishes
Install a low-flow shower head
Turn off the water while brushing my teeth
Replace my old toilet with a WaterSense model (check out Toho's Toilet Rebate Program!)
Thaw frozen food in the fridge instead of using running water
I pledge to make the following choices OUTSIDE to conserve water:
Add new beauty to my yard using Florida Natives or Florida Friendly plants
Sweep outdoor areas instead of using a hose
Ensure my irrigation system is running efficiently (no leaks, following correct watering days, not spraying sidewalks and roads)
Using less fertilizer in the garden
Attach a nozzle to the hose
Skip a day of irrigation
Cover my pool when not in use to reduce evaporation

Carpool with friends when possible
