Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 (depending on experience)

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, driven, and creative Site Manager to lead the team at The Wood Bar, our much-loved coffee shop in the heart of Salisbury.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and wants to make a meaningful impact. You’ll be the beating heart of the site – inspiring the team, shaping customer experiences, and helping us grow in all the right directions.

Your key responsibilities:

Team management – lead with passion, fairness, and purpose
Creating and managing rotas to ensure smooth day-to-day running
Staff hiring, onboarding, and training – shaping the future of the team
Stock ordering and supplier management
Driving sales during quieter times with creativity and insight
Organising events and bringing new ideas to life
Motivating staff and cultivating a strong team culture
Collaborating with the Site Manager from our second location to ensure consistency and shared vision across both sites
You are:

A natural leader with a great team ethic and even better leadership skills
Organised, proactive, and a solid problem-solver
Creative and enthusiastic about trying new ideas and improving customer experience
Can-do attitude with the flexibility and energy hospitality demands
Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people – both customers and team
Ideally, you’ll also have:

Experience managing or supervising in hospitality
A background working with coffee (even better if you love it!)
A valid driver’s license and access to a car (not essential)
Food Hygiene Level 2 – we’ll cover this if you don’t already have it

The Wood Bar, Salisbury’s much-loved independent coffee business, is on the lookout for a passionate and friendly Weekend Barista to join our growing team.

Founded in 2020, we’ve built a strong reputation for exceptional coffee, warm service, and genuine community spirit. With two buzzing locations – inside Parkwood Health & Fitness and Five Rivers Leisure Centre – plus exciting pop-ups across the region, we’re proud to serve up quality coffee with a personal touch.

☕ What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting every customer with a warm, friendly welcome
- Making consistently high-quality espresso-based drinks
- Serving food safely with attention to hygiene and allergens
- Clearing tables and maintaining a spotless Front of House
- Restocking fridges and shelves, and managing stock rotation
- Supporting the team with deliveries and general upkeep

- Friendly, reliable and happy to pitch in wherever needed
- Hospitality and customer service experience (essential)
- Barista experience is a bonus – but we’ll train you if you’re the right fit!

Note: At our Parkwood site, we run a full table service brunch and lunch menu 7 days a week – your role will include aligning with this offering and helping maintain a strong, consistent standard.

Part Time Chef – The Wood Bar, Parkwood, Salisbury

Join Our Kitchen Team at The Wood Bar
Part-Time | 2 Days a Week | Parkwood Salisbury 

Pay: £13-£14ph depending on experienece 

Are you passionate about great food and looking to be part of a creative, welcoming team? The Wood Bar is on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic kitchen team member to help us continue delivering fresh, exciting dishes that our customers love.

🍴 About the Role
Days: 2 days per week

Sunday (non-negotiable)
One additional day (flexible)

Location: The Wood Bar, Parkwood with potential opportunities at our second venue

Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Additional shifts may be available as we expand our food offering

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and Kitchen Manager, learning our menu and maintaining the high standards our customers expect. As we look to expand into hot food, there’s real opportunity for you to have input and bring your own creative flair to the menu.

🔧 What You’ll Do
- Help maintain a clean, safe and efficient kitchen
- Follow all EHO and food hygiene guidelines
- Deliver delicious, well-presented food consistently
- Collaborate with Front of House when needed to ensure smooth service

- A willingness to learn and contribute to a growing menu
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred, but we’ll help if yours is out of date)
