Please use this form to request an update to your Studio (& Gallery) Address Sign
Each studio/gallery door should have a “studio address sign” as mentioned in the Operating Rules and Procedures (“ORP”), part 1. c., incorporated into the Lease. Please allow for approximately 2 weeks for the new sign. These signs are designed to support the visitor experience.
- The Studio (& Gallery) Address Sign is managed by the Landlord/City/Art Center shall not be altered by the tenant.
- Tenants may have their Studio (& Gallery) Address Sign updated two times annually, between October 1 and September 30, by request using this form. (If a sign is incorrect due to staff error, staff will correct the error).
- Subtenants may be added to a Studio Address Sign after their 4-month probation period has ended (see ORP 20.c.) and they sign a new sublease for 4 months or longer in that same studio. In this situation, Tenants should request an update via this form, however it does not count as one of their two annual update opportunities. When/if the sublease ends, the sign will return to the previous version.
- All Studio (& Gallery) Address Signs shall be 11”x17”. Some current/old signs on the wooden part of doors are larger than that. When the door is re-painted by the tenant or staff, the sign shall be replaced.
- Please see section 1. c. and 6. a. in the ORP for more information on what is allowed on doors, windows, and hallway walls.
- For individual artists, contact information and website must be to them/their personal art bussness.
If there is more than one person to be listed on the sign, all must be listed on the same form.
