Tourism Revelstoke supports select film projects through our branding budget when they align with our strategy. We review applications year-round. To qualify, your project must advance the priorities in our 5-Year Strategic Business Plan or Destination Management Plan.
Funding isn’t guaranteed and depends on the available budget.
What we can offer:
- $1,000–$2,000 in financial support
- In-kind support — on-the-ground help such as meals, rentals, accommodation*, or other needs.
Applicant Requirements:
- A minimum portion of the project must be filmed in Revelstoke. Revelstoke locations must be clearly recognizable (not generic filler).
- The project must credit “Tourism Revelstoke” and include our brand assets as agreed.
- The film must be submitted to at least one recognized film festival or industry event.
- Proof of festival submissions must be provided.
- Applicants must provide a production schedule and location list before filming.
- All required permits, permissions, and insurance must be secured by the applicant.
- Any use of drones must meet Transport Canada regulations and local restrictions.
- Projects must meet our values—no content that misrepresents the destination, promotes unsafe behaviour, or conflicts with our brand.
