• Jones-Moody Family Reunion Subcommittee Selection Form

    For the 2025-2026 Family Reunion Year we will divide our contributions up into 4 main groups. Each subcommittees will have different goals and objectives that all help to make our family reunion experiences both successful and memorable. Please take a moment to share which committee you're interested in joining. (Feel free to choose more than one!)
  • The Event Committee

    The Event Planning Committee focuses on organizing the food, logistics and activities for the family reunion. This committee coordinates venue selection, catering, entertainment, and scheduling of events to create a memorable experience for all attendees. Members of this committee are creative and detail-oriented, with a passion for crafting enjoyable and inclusive gatherings.
  • The History Keepers Committee

    The History Keepers Committee is dedicated to preserving and sharing the family's heritage and stories. This committee collects and documents historical information, photographs, and memorabilia related to the family lineage. They may organize storytelling sessions, create a family timeline, and compile a digital or physical archive for future generations. Members of this committee are enthusiastic about genealogy and have a knack for storytelling and research.
  • The Outreach Committee

    The Outreach Committee focuses on engaging and communicating with family members before, during, and after the reunion. This committee manages invitations, RSVPs, and updates through various communication channels such as social media, email newsletters, and phone calls. They also coordinate outreach efforts to locate and invite distant or estranged family members, ensuring inclusivity and broad participation. Members of this committee are excellent communicators with a knack for connecting with others and maintaining relationships.
  • The Executive Committee

    The Executive Committee serves as the core leadership team responsible for overseeing the overall planning and coordination of the family reunion. This committee provides strategic direction, manages resources, and ensures that all activities align with the reunion's objectives. Currently, there are two position remaining on this committee. The Treasurer: Manages the financial aspects of the family reunion, including budgeting, financial reporting, and overseeing expenses to ensure responsible stewardship of funds. This team member should have a finance background. The Secretary records meeting minutes, maintains important documents, and handles correspondence to ensure clear communication and documentation of decisions within the committee. This team member should have strong administrative skills.
