    Professional surroundings can mean different things according to your situation: workspace, office, team, business, studio, company, practice, atelier, crew, group.

    As last step, we are going to assess practical ways to nurture creativity in professional surroundings. 

  • 1. PSYCOLOGICAL SAFETY

    Psychological safety is the belief that you won't be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes

  • 2. CREATIVITY TRAININGS - DOMAIN UNSPECIFIC

    Creativity trainings that are domain unspecific are trainings that occur in a well defined amount of time, i.e. 2 hours or 4 hours, to train participants general creative muscles, without focussing on a specific theme, i.e. automotive or dance, and without focussing on a specific challenge, i.e. a new commercial product or a new song.

  • 3.CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING SESSIONS

    Creative Problem Solving (CPS) involves breaking down a problem to understand it, generating ideas to solve the problem and evaluating those ideas to find the most effective solutions. It uses techniques to make the problem solving process engaging and collaborative. Unlike Creativity Trainings that are domain unspecific, creative problem solving sessions are specific to a dOmani and/or challenge. For the sake of this form, Design Thinking sessions are also included in the definition Creative Problem Solving sessions.

  • 4. CREATIVITY WORKGROUP

    A Creativity workgroup is a group of professionals within a given organizations that is responsible for collecting ideas, organizing and testing activities and suggesting new procedures to enhance creativity in the workspace.

  • 5. DIVERSE TEAMS

    Diverse teams are more creative because a person’s individual creativity is enhanced by their ability to integrate different points of view—something that many of us learn when interacting with people from different backgrounds.

    Think if the place where you work, and the way it is set up with markers and whiteboards for brainstorming, areas to relax, color, light, temperature.
